WAI's Sierra Battle Born Chapter
From the annual Reno Air and Balloon races, to a student pilot soloing for the first time, Reno is hardly a stranger to aviation.
This chapter was created in an effort to better represent the female aviation community of Northern Nevada. Based out of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, the Sierra Battle Born chapter is made up of a plethora of diverse individuals, including not only pilots, but aircraft mechanics, business owners, and many more incredible factions.
Chapter meetings and events will be held throughout the year for networking and educational opportunities. If you’re a lover of all things aviation and aerospace, and enjoy sharing your passion with others, we’d love to have you! Membership includes job search opportunities, scholarship opportunities, access to mentors in your industry, and much more!
